September 27, 2023 | 1:30 Eastern: Your Story. Your Campaign. Your Brand Online. Atima Omara, Omara Strategy Group, Disability Victory Board Member. ASL Interpretation | Live Captions. RSVP: disabilityvictory.org/fall-23.

Description: If you are thinking of running for office, having a “why” is critical. It’s the foundation to understanding the parts of your story that will resonate with voters and create your campaign message that will be used throughout the campaign. Learn how to build this foundation well from the beginning, and come prepared with your questions about how to build your personal story as a candidate.

You will learn:

  • The need to have an answer as to “why” you are running for office

  • The importance of your personal story to launching a meaningful campaign that resonates with your community

  • How the foundation of your story shapes your campaign message

  • How digital media tools help brand you and your campaign

  • The importance of having a digital presence as a candidate

This session will have live captioning and American Sign Language interpretation (ASL). For additional accommodations, please contact hello@disabilityvictory.org.
